Waste Classification Management Disposal
BioSafety Level 2 Collect in clear autoclave bags. Autoclave solids and liquids, place autoclaved solids into medical waste boxes, and drain dispose autoclaved liquids. Bleach can also be used for disinfection of the liquids. Label all outer and inner containers with appropriate labels. Manage solids as Regulated Medical Waste and contact REHS at (732) 445-2550 to arrange for an RMW pick-up. Submit disposal request at:

Dispose of the disinfected liquids in sink.
